What lesson did your father teach you that still helps you in life?
One thing that I will always remember that my dad taught me was to believe in myself and never let anyone tell me that I can't do something. To always prove my opponents wrong. He is a very strong figure in my life and has always loved me for whatever decision I made.
I love you dad.

What event changed your life for the better?
Submitted by Kasey.
Meeting Kyle. =) My life would not be where it is today without him. I'm a stronger, more confident person than I ever was. From that first meeting, I knew nothing would ever be the same. I love you.

What's the best thing about your mom?
She may not understand me, but she tries her best to love me unconditionally.
Yay mom.

What are your neighbors like? (The ones you live near or next to, not the ones in your Vox neighborhood!)
I live next to a half-way house. Mind you, they weren't there when Kyle and I moved in. Life since then has been interesting. To add, there is a senior citizens home right next to that. What does that mean? It means we get fire trucks and sirens almost every other day. Whenever I hear one I think:
1. Someone has died or was injured at the Senior Citizen's home;
2. Someone tried to harm someone in the half way house.
It does bother me a little more that there are potentially dangerous people in the half way house. Most are harmless and keep to themselves, but there are those that are obviously volatile. For example, there was the one large man that just would stare you down as you walked by. There were times where he was verbally violent when he was indoors. We know this for a fact because we could hear him while we were in the bathroom or just watching TV in our bedroom. This part of our apartment sat adjacent to said building. Eventually police came and took him away.
Why do you think it is some people don't get along with you?
Don't get along with me? Really? Hmm... well I've found that people who don't get along with me are people who are very competitive. There is just something about competition that is a big turn off. I can get along with people who I don't have anything in common with, but if they try to compete with me for whatever reason we just don't click. I've seen it turn into such negative situations where it gets so blown out of proportion. I usually let it go because maybe there was a misunderstanding somewhere but it's too late to rectify anything.

How often do you call your parents?
I think I call them either once a week or once every other week just to make sure they know I'm alive. I also have lunch with my mom at lest once a month. I always feel like my most important asset in my life has been my family. Without them I would not be who I am and where I will be in the future. They instilled in me values that you just can't learn on your own sometimes. Simple things like trust, compassion, and unconditional love for those you care about.
Hi mom!
